Inside Track Almanac has been the official recreation guide to the Treasure Coast since 1995!
The Almanac is a digest size full-color glossy recreation guide providing readers with pertinent information on where to go and what to do with their leisure time. The Treasure Coast is the jewel of Florida's east coast. Untouched by the high rises and urban sprawl of South Florida and free of the overcrowded beaches of our northern neighbors, this area has so much to offer. Beautiful beaches, the splendor of the Indian River Lagoon, a vibrant arts community, and world-class restaurants bring visitors, seasonal residents and transplants to our communities year after year.
In 1995 Founder Kerry Firth started brainstorming on a napkin while dining at Captain Hiram's Resort and Sandbar. Having always had an affinity for the Old Farmer's Almanac, Kerry, an avid diver, traveler and all-around outdoorsy native Floridian decided to style her new publication with similar principles and fundamentals. This was the simple beginning of what has become the area's oldest and most recognized free, recreational guide to this incredible place we like to call paradise. Her hard work and dedication paid off.
Today "The Almanac" is faithfully distributed and picked up freely at over 200 locations throughout the Treasure Coast.
We are still guided by Mother Earth as we honor the intense and sometimes fierce beauty of our natural surroundings.
We are ever dedicated to connecting visitors and residents to and promoting awareness of Florida's Treasure Coast and its environment.
Inside Track Almanac is a "go to" resource for seasonal residents, tourists, and locals who like to live like tourists. We have something for everyone. The magazine and website feature content on outdoor recreation, arts, entertainment, and culture. We focus on fun things to do, cool places to go and great stuff to eat and drink.
Our mission is to inform, educate and entertain while giving our readers an enhanced appreciation for this area of Florida and a better understanding of its history and natural environment.
