He was presented with his Jazz Performance and Composition degree from legendary composer, John Williams and drummer, Buddy Rich. He has performed all over the U.S. and abroad with some of the greatest jazz names in the business, and has played with myriad Grammy award-winning artists of all musical genres. His extensive Bio is impressive and long. Mike connects with his audience with a warm, sincere demeanor and focused, inspired playing.

This year, expect to hear more of Mike’s original compositions, in concert with classic be-bop arrangements echoing the styles of Bill Evans, Bud Powell, Oscar Peterson, Red Garland, and Thelonious Monk, as well as jazz interpretations of contemporary greats, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and McCoy Tyner.
