The 10-acre facility opened on U.S Highway 1 in September and held an official grand opening on November 3, 2018. Since then, the place has been hopping and it's easy to see why.
High tech driving ranges have been spreading like wildfire across the country in recent years, but BigShots Golf is a game changer, even in this new age of driving ranges. Radar tracking is the difference says General Manager, Bobby Bird. The technology is different from the microchipped balls used by other facilities. Monitors powered by Flightscope® technology operate like Doppler Radar and accurately measure angle and club speed in addition to ball speed and distance.
And then there’s the gaming software. Each golf bay is equipped with a large touch-screen kiosk that is integrated with the radar tracking monitor, featuring games designed for players of every skill level. The software also allows golfers to play virtual 18-hole courses in a fraction of the time (and cost) it would take to play the real deal.
The new two-story facility features 30 climate-controlled tee boxes stocked with top quality equipment, comfortable furnishings, and big screen televisions along with full bar and food service. Players are welcome to bring their own clubs, but it’s not a requirement. Traditionalists will also appreciate that BigShots also offers grass driving tees where players can simply hit balls old school style.
BigShots also offers LittleShots, an 18- hole putting course for kids and adults, a full-service restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, two bars, private event space and even a covered patio on the second floor overlooking the putting course. Big Shots has thought of everything. From golf play for any skill level to a nicely appointed and surprisingly budget-friendly restaurant and sports bar, you’ll find that Vero’s new family entertainment experience is a welcome addition to the Treasure Coast.
